Liam Ball

Liam Ball is a current mechanical engineering PhD student located at Deakin University’s Waurn Ponds campus. He studied a Bachelor of Mechanical (honours) Engineering at Deakin University, grew up in Melbourne but is now firmly a Geelong resident.

He has been participating in local theatre across Geelong for several years, starring in several productions (currently starring as Mr Green in Geelong Repertory Theatre’s Clue), and is similarly involved in the local comedy scene in such groups as the improv group The Laughter Party.

Liam enjoys writing, drawing, painting, digital arts, and stage arts. He was previously a part of Deakin’s Writers Club, having published several works (short stories, articles, poems, artworks) with them over several years for their WORDLY magazines and website. He also has an Instagram account (@barely_drawn) he sometimes remembers to post updates to.
