Remembrance of things eaten: Fish stick
Pulling into the servo,
Ordering a minimum chips,
Adding the aptly named "fish stick".
A flaccid tube of mashed up,
Fish entrails,
With a painted pink racing stripe.
Battered and dunked,
In yesteryear's grease pit.
Peppered in poultry dust,
Served hard and dripping.
Wrapped in last week's news.
It goes down,
As it comes out.
