type, but stop at the crux
of my throat.
So I lend my heart to you,
not through words,
but through
chocolate eggs,
placed gently in
your palm.
I want you to eat well,
to taste nourishingly
and fully the
splendours of our
world. To savour the
sweetness I can’t
convey.
